Nature Reports Climate Change
Client: Nature Publishing Group
The Nature Reports Climate Change site won the IMA 2007 Outstanding achievement award
Brief: Design of the Nature Reports Climate Change site templates in Photoshop
Description: The Nature Reports sites are a family of sites about some of the most relevant scientific topics. The aim of this group of sites is to appeal to an audience beyond nature’s highly scientific target audience. This shift in focus is reflected in the design of the family of Nature Reports sites.
Dissect medicine
Client: Nature Publishing Group
Brief: Design of the page templates in photoshop. Design of the icons in Adobe Illustrator, and optimistation in photoshop.
Description: Dissect Medicine is a collaborative medical news website, which indexes and ranks international medical news. Essentially the site works in a simillar manner to the social networking site "Digg", but focusses on scientific content.
SciBx
Client: Nature Publishing Group
Brief: Design of the page templates in photoshop. Coding of the page templates in xhtml and css
Description: SciBx is a collaboration between the Nature Publishing Group and BioCentury, and aims to inform entrepreneurs of the latest scientific breakthroughs and possible business applications of this knowledge.
Connotea
Client: Nature Publishing Group
Brief: Design of the page templates in photoshop. Coding of the page templates in xhtml and css.
Description: The design of Connotea was based on information provided from extensive usability testing. Connotea is a web based service designed to help scientists quickly save and organize links to their references. It is similar to delicio.us, but it focuses specifically on a scientific target audience.
International Society of Nephrology
Client: Nature Publishing Group
Brief: Design the page templates in photoshop. Coding of the pages in xhtml and css.
Description: This is a preview of social networking functionality currently being incorporated into the I.S.N. site. I was also responsible for the original designs and template coding for the site.The I.S.N. aims to be a complete resource for nephrology for scientists.
Marks & Start
Client: Marks & Spencers
Brief: Design of the page templates in Photoshop. Development of the pages in w3c compliant xhtml and css.
Description: This is a mini-site about Marks and Spencer's commitment to the community
Nature video streaming
Client: Nature Publishing Group
Brief: Design of the flash interface in Photoshop. Development of the template in Adobe Flash using actionscript.
Description: This flash template is used to stream video content for Nature's various streaming media projects.
N1 Islington
Client: N1 Islington
Brief: Design of the page templates in Photoshop. Development of the flash interface and navigation.
